Breast cancer has had an incredibly visible increase in the number of cases over the years. The DMC Journalism Club decided to show its support to this by dressing in Pink and White.

During October, the breast cancer awareness month and throughout the year, people dress in pink to honor survivors, remember those who have lost their lives to the disease and to support the progress being made in order to defeat the disease.
Around the World, people organise 'Pink Day' fundraising events where people donate their money to help in research for breast cancer, all while wearing pink. Some dry cleaning agencies donate the sales made from pink outfits to Funds helping Breast Cancer families.
